I was told that Knorr does not make Ox Tail Soup mix any more - are their some new recipes for Ox Tail Soup - if not using their mix?

They sell it in Canada, Ireland, and Germany, just not here. Grr. You can use 1 can concentrated beef consomme plus 1 tablespoon tomato paste to substitute for 1 envelope.

Well, now it's official...here in Canada Knorr has discontinued OxTail soup. Now what can we use as a substitute? Stews, hamburgers, roast gravy...it is my staple and now I don't know what to do without it... :(

See the suggestion just above, If you need thickening, you would also use about 3 tablespoons of flour dissolved into the broth.
