40th Birthday Party Mingle Finger Food - Service is 8pm - 10:30pm Below is the menu Adults only... Currently have 55 that have RSVP planning for 60- Party is January 11th

Appetizers - Hot
360 - Chicken/Spinach Stuffing Balls 1 in balls serving 2 on bamboo tooth picks
288 - Assorted mini Quiches

Appetizers - Cold
320 - Shrimp Cocktail-3 per shot glass w/sauce
144 Tea Sandwiches mini rolls lunch meat cheese cut in half w/toothpick
160 Veggie Sandwiches mini croissants cut in half w/toothpick

4lbs 2 Loaf Pans - Cream Cheese Sundried Tomato Pesto Terrine served with toasted French bread

5lbs Apple Feta Spicy Pecan Salad served in 9oz cups
*Veggie Tray Carrots, celery cucumbers grape tomatoes broccoli
8lbs Cheese Cube Tray - Colby-jack and Cheddar
5lbs assorted crackers

How much meat and cheese do I need for the rolls

There is also a fruit tray cupcakes and a cake being served. I was going to put pineapple, strawberries grapes kiwi melons but not sure if they will be good in January. What do you suggest on amounts.

Taylor this is a lot of food for 60 people for an after dinner party. Are you in a crowd where this is dinner and not after dinner? If it is after dinner, I'd like to suggest trims on amounts. OK with you?

The 8:30pm is the start time for the cocktail party. It is being hosted at a local art gallery. It is my thoughts usually people would have eaten as it is being advertised as a cocktail party. I would love to hear you suggestions on a cut down.

You will still have some left, but not as much:

Appetizers - Hot
360 - Chicken/Spinach Stuffing Balls 1 in balls serving 2 on bamboo tooth picks- no more than 4 per person and 3 is plenty unless they are very small.
288 - Assorted mini Quiches- no more than 3 per person

Appetizers - Cold
320 - Shrimp Cocktail-3 per shot glass w/sauce
Plan on just 3 ounces shrimp and 3- 4 tablespoons shrimp sauce per person, and do just 1 shooter per person plus about 10 extra.

144 Tea Sandwiches mini rolls lunch meat cheese cut in half w/toothpick
160 Veggie Sandwiches mini croissants cut in half w/toothpick
Items cut in half are kind of tacky and this is a class affair. If you must have pre-made, I suggest pinwheel/wrap bites, and no more than 4 per person, which is about 1/2 a whole wrap per person.

4lbs 2 Loaf Pans - Cream Cheese Sundried Tomato Pesto Terrine served with toasted French bread. Plenty, 3 pounds bread

5lbs Apple Feta Spicy Pecan Salad served in 9oz cups
suggest 6 ounce cups, usual serving is just 1/3 to 1/2 cup
*Veggie Tray Carrots, celery cucumbers grape tomatoes broccoli- you could skip this. If included, use veggie tray page but do not do for more than 50- or do the classic relish tray at the top of that section instead, much more interesting.
8lbs Cheese Cube Tray - Colby-jack and Cheddar
5lbs assorted crackers. 6 cheese and 3 cracker is plenty. Have part be at least 2 pounds swiss, havarti, etc- some kind of classy white.

Coffee Bar- do 1/2 dinner coffee for 100 from the beverage planning page
7 gallons - Alcoholic Punch - 9 oz cups- OK
Beer - estimate beer drinkers, 4 bottles per person
Wine - estimate wine drinkers, 1/2 bottle per person plus bubbly for toast, see beverage planning page
144 Waters - 8oz-ootles per person OK 2 b
Soda - do for 30, use 1/3 soda from the beverage planning page

fruit tray, do for 50- see fruit tray page
cupcakes - about 4 dozen MAX
cake =1/2 sheet or 2 layer 1/4 sheet
