Beach Picnic theme for 225

I have been asked to provide "the rest of the menu" for a function to feed 225. The hosts are providing steak and chicken and they've asked for a beach picnic theme. They suggested a clam bake, and in addition, I'm thinking about New England clam chowder, baked beans, potato salad, bean salad, fresh fruit, sauteed mushrooms for the steak, BBQ or teriyaki sauce for the chicken, mac & cheese for the kids, lemon bars and chocolate brownies for dessert, french breach and lemonade.

Does this menu sound reasonable? What quantity mushrooms and sauce should I make? I think the quantities for the rest should be fine since I got them from your site.
