Cooking for 300 people
Here is my menu.
Lunch. Hamburgs, hot dogs, macaroni salad, potatoe salad and chips. I can figure out the meat side but how many large trays of the salads so I need to make.

Dinner. Pork shoulders, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, cornbread.


Nancy, the age and type of crowd has a major effect.

Per 100
3 1/2 gallons potato salad (35 pounds raw potatoes)
pasta salad with 6 pounds dry pasta
6 pounds chips
Strongly suggest you add slaw 2 1/2 gallons per 100 or green salad, per the plan for 100 tables or some kind of veg.
Strongly suggest 12-16 vegetarian patties or sausages in a crock pot. will have some non-meat eaters in the group.

Per 100
Pork shoulders, bone in, 60 pounds
macaroni and cheese, 10 pounds dry pasta, 1 quart sauce per 100, 1/2 to 1 pound cheese per pound
baked beans, 3 gallons per 100, at least some meatless
coleslaw, 2 1/2 gallons per 100
cornbread, 12 pounds per 100. 3 pounds butter
