Paula Dean 1500W Programmable Induction Cooker
I recently received the Paula Dean Programmable 1500 W Induction Cooker. I love the way it looks in my kitchen however, there was no instruction manual included in the box. I have absolutely no idea how this thing works. Can someone tell me where or how I can get a copy of the instruction manual? I've searched the Internet but have not been successful. If someone cold scan and copy their manual and send it to me via email, I'd be so grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Fiirst, it only works with pots and pans that can hold a magnet on their bottoms. It won't even heat any pthers.

And her is info on her site:

My induction plate shows EO on and I need to know how to reset it so it will work. Please help!
According to Aroma induction cooker instruction:

An E0/E6 error code means the cooktop has overheated. Unplug the cooktop and allow to cool down. Restart and select a lower heat setting to start.

Note: Cast iron cookware is great to use with induction cooktops. It typically has a higher percentage of iron and therefore will maintain heat well. It is suggested to start heating at P1 and adjust as needed. You usually do not need to exceed the P3 heat setting when using cast iron cookware.

An E1 error means incorrect cookware/non-induction-ready cookware. Use a magnet to test if the desired cookware is induction-ready. Place the magnet against the bottom of the cookware to see if it sticks or not. If it sticks, it’s induction-ready. If not, it is not induction-ready and can’t be used on the induction cooktop.

Another site shows:

The instruction manual might tell about such a reset procedure, as well as the meaning of the error code.

They must be pretty bad units. This repair guy has had lots of practice.

When the plastic Cap fails from excessive ripple current or beyond rating or bad part or too large pot ( heavy inductive load), the ESR rises and E0 I guess means no Energy.
Here is a list of error codes.

Youtube has many repair videos for induction cook top. One of the most common problems is the 3 to 5uF power capacitor. You can buy them on Ebay.

Good luck.

The instructions don't state what it is for!
I am very curious about this matter.
Is it to:
Cook faster?
Is it to:
Take up more space in the kitchen and look nice?
I need to know!

An important note- people who are sensitive to emf, and many digital items usually can't tolerate being near these cookers, because they work by emf.
